German oak

The German oak (English oak, Quercus robus) is a large, sturdy, native deciduous tree that can grow to a height of 25 to 40 meters. The oak has a large, round, spreading crown with a loose structure.

The oak has deeply lobed, leathery leaves that turn brownish-yellow in the fall. Its acorns serve as food for many animals.
