Concerts in the open air - in the middle of Uelsen
The municipality of Uelsen is once again inviting you to the Uelser Musiksommer this year. From June to September 2026, Brunnenplatz will become a stage for a wide variety of musical genres.
All concerts take place in the open air and are free of charge.

Look forward to a summery concert evening in the heart of Uelsen with the Musikverein Uelsen e.V.!
Under the direction of Helga Hoogland, the orchestra presents a varied program with melodies from films and musicals, well-known pop arrangements and popular classics of popular music.
For many years, the Musikverein has stood for a lively regional concert culture and great joy in making music together. Most of the musicians in the wind orchestra come from the county. Their repertoire covers a wide range of musical styles - sometimes lively, sometimes soulful, always inviting and full of recognition value.
Whether for relaxed listening, humming along or simply enjoying a balmy summer evening: this concert invites you to rediscover familiar sounds.
The concert takes place at the fountain on Am Markt. Admission is free. If it rains, the concert will take place in the Protestant Reformed Church.

Gospel Choir Uelsen & Popkoor Reload
Gospel choir Uelsen
The ecumenical gospel choir from Niedergrafschaft combines the joy of singing with a strong community. With around 50 singers, the choir delights its audience on many different occasions. The musical direction is in the hands of pop cantor Julia Uhlenwinkel, who organizes the rehearsals with great commitment and passion.
All members share an enthusiasm for gospel music and take great pleasure in rehearsing together. Whenever possible, the choir takes part in church services and provides a musically varied and rousing performance. The choir also creates a good atmosphere and enthusiastic audiences at Christmas markets, cultural festivals, church events and various choral musicals beyond the county's borders with lively gospel music.
Popkoor Reload
Popkoor Reload reinterprets well-known pop songs in its own unique way - from timeless classics to current chart hits. Under the direction of a professional vocal coach and conductor, the choir presents its varied repertoire in four voices and with great passion. Musically, the repertoire ranges from Queen and ABBA to Loreen and Son Mieux.
The singers are not only united by the joy of music, but also by their enthusiasm for shared experiences - a special atmosphere that the audience can experience up close at the music summer on the market square in Uelsen.

The duo Christopher Held and Max Grote will delight you with a versatile program of vocals and piano. With a successful mix of pop songs, jazz, pop and soul, the two musicians create a special musical atmosphere and invite you to listen and enjoy. Visitors can look forward to soulful interpretations, well-known melodies and an atmospheric summer evening by the fountain. Admission is free.

to the market square. The band combines the raw charm of classic rock music with a modern, energetic
performance, creating an exuberant atmosphere and the best festival atmosphere.
Musically, visitors can look forward to a varied mix of rock classics and
modern anthems - from AC/DC, Foo Fighters, P!nk, Ozzy Osbourne and Rage Against the Machine, among others.

Jürgen Fastje & the ballet ensemble of the Niedergrafschaft music school on World Children's Day
Look forward to a cheerful family program full of music, dancing and hands-on activities!
Children's songwriter Jürgen Fastje will once again delight audiences with his witty songs such as "The Gorilla with the Sunglasses" and "The Pig Boogie" - fun for young and old alike!
The ballet ensemble from the Uelsen Music School also provides special stage moments with lively dances and lovingly rehearsed choreographies.
