"Proatbaunke" in Bürgerpark
Last year, the Senior Citizens' Advisory Council set up four benches in Bürgerpark as so-called
"Proatbaunke". The regular meetings with coffee and
cookies will begin again on May 27. From 3.00 p.m., anyone who is interested can get together there to chat, linger and socialize at

Further meetings take place on the last Wednesday of each month at 3.00 p.m., provided the weather is dry

Bus trip to the Lower Saxony State Parliament in Hanover
Itinerary:
Departure from the New Town Hall, Itterbecker Straße 11, Uelsen at 8.00 a.m.
After arrival in Hanover, lunch at the restaurant "Zur Ständigen Vertretung" and free time at
.
In the afternoon, a plenary visit to the State Parliament with an introductory film and the opportunity to follow the
plenary proceedings from the visitors' gallery. Afterwards, there will be an opportunity for discussion with
MPs.
Return journey at around 18:00 and return to Uelsen at around 21:30.
The tour price of €45.00 per person includes the outward and return journey in the
long-distance coach, coffee at the breakfast break and on the return journey, lunch and plenary visit
to the State Parliament building.
Due to the limited number of participants, registration is required.
This will take place on April 27 and 28, 2026 from 9.00 to 11.30 a.m. in the wedding hall of the
town hall, Itterbecker Straße 11 in Uelsen. We ask for cash payment of the tour price.

Leisurely cycle tour
The Seniors' Advisory Council cordially invites you to join them on a cycle tour on Wednesday, June 3, 2026.
Enjoy the spring air, beautiful landscapes and sociable hours in a friendly
community. The tour is deliberately planned to be leisurely and leads over predominantly flat
routes - ideal for less experienced cyclists too.
If the weather is uncertain, we recommend calling in advance to find out whether the tour will take place
.
Key tour details:
Start/finish: 14:00 at the new town hall, Itterbecker Straße 11 in Uelsen
Refreshments: coffee break together at "Haller Treff" (Dorfstraße 70 in Halle)
Total distance: approx. 38 km, mostly flat and without major inclines
Note: A roadworthy bicycle (preferably an e-bike) and the wearing of a bicycle helmet
are required.

The Seniors' Advisory Council is looking forward to welcoming many cyclists and to a sociable afternoon on the

Dance event "Wij goat noa Hols"
After last year's great success, the senior dance revival "Wij goat
noa Hols" is set to continue. In the "Zur Linde" restaurant in Itterbeck, you can once again shake a leg to
live music, just like 55 years ago.
