The VVV (Verkehrs- und Verschönerungsverein) Uelsen cordially invites you to the 37th Uels Christmas market in the atmospherically illuminated town center on Saturday, December 6.
The Christmas market opens at 12:00 noon. Visitors can expect a lively market atmosphere at the stalls set up by the VVV until 19:00. As in the previous year, mulled wine and other tasty treats will be on offer until 22:00 so that visitors can enjoy the Christmas atmosphere for as long as possible. The VVV is once again expecting numerous guests from the county, from Emsland and also from the Dutch border region.
As at previous Christmas markets, private vendors, charitable institutions and associations will also be represented at this year's "Uels Christmas Market". Visitors can look forward to culinary specialties, home-baked delicacies and, of course, warming mulled wine and non-alcoholic options. Another special feature is a shepherdess with her sheep, which is a great attraction for families and children in particular. In addition, the private exhibitors offer products made by hand - from gifts and woodwork to honey and jams, knitwear and handicrafts. A few stands are still available.
The highlight of the Christmas market for the little guests is traditionally the visit of St. Nicholas. He arrives in Uelsen at 3:30 pm with his helpers and a Christmas sack full of goodies.
The supporting program at the Uelsen Christmas market will be rounded off with musical highlights, including the Niedergrafschaft music school. Their ensemble "Klangreich Uelsen" will perform at 2:30 pm.
