On Saturday, April 11, 2026, the municipality of Uelsen once again invites all citizens to the "Uelsen blossoms" campaign. The aim of the event is to jointly beautify the townscape and visibly welcome spring to the municipality.
The campaign has been taking place for several years and has established itself as a popular hands-on activity. Every helping hand is welcome - whether planting flowers, maintaining benches and signage or collecting garbage throughout the municipality.
Meeting point and procedure:
- When: 9:00 am
- Where: Parking lot at the town hall Uelsen
- Procedure: Formation of working groups for the implementation of various beautification measures
- Conclusion: 12:30 pm at the barbecue area, with a small thank you in the form of grilled sausages
The campaign is jointly organized by the municipality of Uelsen, the Uelsen traffic and beautification association and the "Uelsen aktiv" advertising association. All Uelsen residents, visitors and anyone who feels connected to Uelsen are cordially invited to take part.
