Cycle path renewal on the B403:

In the district of Grafschaft Bentheim, the cycle path along the B403 between Uelsen and
Wilsum is being renewed. Construction work is scheduled to begin on August 19. The end of construction
is planned for the beginning of November. This was announced by the state authority for road construction and traffic
in the Lingen division.

The cycle path is being renewed over a length of 5.6 kilometers under full closure - more precisely
from the B403/L43 junction in Uelsen to the B403/K14 junction in Wilsum. For
motor vehicle traffic, a half-sided
traffic guidance system with traffic lights will be set up on the main road as construction progresses.

Cycle traffic will be diverted during the entire construction period. The signposted route
leads from Uelsen via Hardingerhauser Straße (K22) and Gölenkamper Straße
to Wilsum. This route also applies in the opposite direction.

According to the authorities, the costs for the B403 cycle path renewal amount to around
600,000 euros.
